Hacking Question HELP!! need help with autorcm!

i dunno if someone already asked.. i havents used my switch a couple of months.. ive left it docked and ive taken out the sdcard before.. the problem is tht i cant find the sdcard... meaning i cant boot my switch... is there anything i can do? i really can find the card its probly lost and ive probly threw it away.. what can i do? thanks for the help

First, you should see if you can get it to power on and push a payload such as Hekate that doesn't need SD card to fully function, second get a new SD card.

Yes, but first you should try to see if you can get the switch to boot, you might have to leave it plug in and let it charge if it ran out of battery, if it was in autorcm you gonna have to use a dongle or a computer to push a payload.

its charged.. i can hear the sound when i plug it in the pc.. but i cant use the payload for some reason.. maybe its cause i dont have a card inside ?

You need to push a payload on the computer, it is not off the SD card unless you have hekate loaded up.

the problem is i dunno what boot i used.. i know i used to use a playload called ReiNX i think

when i plug it in it doesnt detect it

Okay

Put this on the SD card

Load up the latest Hekate.bin from below on your computer and inject the payload,
https://github.com/CTCaer/hekate/releases

does the card need to be formated in some way? like fat32 or someting?

You should use FAT32, as exFAT is more corruption prone, format for FAT32, is 32kb cluster, you can use guiformat to format the card.

doesnt seem to work when i used to plug it in it used to make the sound right away and injected right away.. but now when i plug it in takes 2-3 secs to make the sound.. i think i did something wrong

If it can pick up rcm mode it doesn't matter.

AH i think i know wuts wrong... i got a new pc and i dont have the driver.. plus i wasnt running tegra as an admin
