Hacking Help Modding Xbox 360 Slim

Hey guys I have an Xbox 360 slim, it's not the glossy one and I want to mod it. But I know nothing about the modding scene when it comes to the 360. I was wondering if anyone would help me decide on what to do to play backups, I really don't care about playing online. Btw it's on the latest fw

RGH is your solution then.
You'll have to open it and install some chips which require soldering.

If you can't solder, take it to a modshop and request that you want to have it RGH'd (Reset Glitch Hacked)

What type of rgh am I suppose to use?

For Slims, there's only one type.
However, I don't know if you got a 4GB or a HDD version of the Slim, nor do I know the MFR date.
So I can't say what extra components you need.

It's not the 4GB, It came with a 250GB HDD and the MFR date is: 2012 - 04 - 25

I believe that you got a Corona V1

What you'll need (if you're going to do it yourself) is a CR4 XL and a JR Programmer.

A modshop may ask 50 or 60 quid for it whilst a CR4 XL and JR Programmer would cost ~40 quid.

RGH glitching on Coronas is tough stuff - if you don't do it exactly right, you can expect insanely long boot times.

Also, don't EVER attempt this unless you know how to solder on super-small soldering pads. QSBs make it a lot easier, but it's still possible to screw your 360 in a bad way and make it not boot anymore

Thanks for helping me out, I know how to solder but is there a guide for this? And is there a bundle of the CR4 with the programmer?

You need to hit 100 post before being able to see the Trading Area.
