I am new here. I come from Germany. I need your help.
my english is bad.sorry.
i turn on nintendo 3ds xl with sd card. comes with 3ds Luma3ds v9.1 configuration. i press start comes

An exception occurred

can't access anything, not even CTRTransfer,
always comes

You almost certainly skipped a step or two in the guide. Would suggest trying again.

Some questions:

• Can you access GodMode9 by holding (Start) on power on?
• Does Luma settings screen appear every time without holding (Select) on power on?
  • Any error message when trying to save Luma config?
  • SD write protected?
  • Have you checked the empty SD (recently) with h2testw, F3 or F3X?
• What did you do before the error?
• Can you start the device without SD?

I can't access godmode9. I tried to hold the start button pressed down. nothing happens. only the power button goes on when the SD card is trin. I did the h2testw test. Everything was ok.

There's a bug where you need two (2) .FIRM files at sdmc:/luma/payloads in order to access GodMode9.

look around on those links we sent you, and you should hopefully find how to fix your issue. with all due respect, use your brain a tiny bit. you see a text saying "you need these two files to get it working" then look at the links, and download the files you need.

What? With all due respect, this is not the way how to talk to people. This implies a very unfriendly message. At least in my opinion.

Whatever you do, do not delete the custom firmware! This "start from scratch"-idea has caused so much trouble and bricked devices. We don't need another case with that.

There had been a bug preventing GodMode9 from starting before and now there is another one. Looking at your setup with Luma3DS v9.1 I guess it is either the older bug or GodMode9.firm cannot be found/read on the SD.
Some of my questions are still open:

• Can you access GodMode9 by holding (Start) on power on? → No.

• What did you do before the error?
• Can you start the device without SD?

Nooooooooo! That is arm9loaderhax installation with CTRTransfer downgrade to 2.1.

There. Is. A. Reason. Why. We. All. Recommend. Only using https://3ds.hacks.guide/ and nothing else. Since Luma3DS v9.1 comes up you must have upgraded to B9S at some point.

Can you take a screenshot of luma/payloads folder in your SDcard?

1. Download the latest Luma3DS and put the boot.firm and boot.3ds onto your SD card. Delete the old ones beforehand
2. Put the SD in your 3DS
3. Boot the system while holding Select.

What happens?

1. Download GodMode9.
2. Put the GodMode9.firm onto the root of your SD card.
3. Delete boot.firm from the root of your SD card.
4. Rename GodMode9.firm to boot.firm
5. Put the SD back into the 3DS
6. Boot the system

You forgot to tell me what happens when updating Luma3DS, but I guess it doesn't matter. I recommend performing a CTRTransfer:

Since GodMode9 is your boot.firm right now, you don't need to hold start when booting to open it for the time being.

It is expected, because your boot.firm is Godmode9 and not Luma3DS, Your 3DS will boot Godmode9 everytime you boot it.
