..i was frustrate..im here for help, not deuchebags o.o please if you have nothing nice to say or you simply dont understand my frustration, do not reply..in any case im thinking my wii's last stand will be with the help of infectus 2..i saw they have a NAND infectus 2 clip to make it eas for u to clip it on..but if im able to do anything else, please dont comeback with unfunny comebacks and un-useful information. Also i already guessed that bootmii as boot 2 isnt there or working because its been doing NOTHING and i told you the installation was rough..meaning some errors but i had assumed (assume makes an ass out fo you and me i know..) it was at least working on the version before hand. Forgive me for being human and making mistakes.

I know this isn't helping, but i would like to figure out how you lost your BootMii boot2.

1. Are you sure you had BootMii boot2? Did it show up before anything else at the time it was working? Before system menu, health screen etc. Did you have preloader/priiloader installed?
2. The only ways i know of to kill BootMii boot2 are:
- Use wifi or disc update to update to 4.2 or higher. Just installing wads leaves boot2 untouched.
- Uninstall BootMii boot2 with the hackmii installer
- Install boot2v4 with Dop-Mii or such(don't know which tool exactly allows to do that)
Are you sure you didn't do any of this?

Hmm, did you use the built-in nand format/reset option in the wii's settings menu? It shouldn't delete BootMii, but i can't say for sure it doesn't.(i'm only 90% sure it doesn't)
I installed 4.2 on my launch Wii from a legit NSMBW, I think I still have Bootmii as boot2. I hope I do. It does the disc flash when you turn on my Wii, does Bootmii IOS do that?

No BootMii IOS is only booted when it's started manually. (BootMii IOS == IOS254)

You can install BootMii boot2 again without problems if boot2v4 overwrote it. The boot1 determines if you can install BootMii boot2 or not, and boot1 can't be updated.

U mentioned u used a USB maybe the BootMii Boot2 files r on that? Have u looked there??

Also could some1 upload the Boot2 files from their SD/USB surely those files r 'Universal' on every Wii!! lol Unlike the freaking NAND dumps!
