Yah the leather seems okay for now, got a while to decide if I want that or nerf, but right now it's preordered

. I once ordered a $5 leather case for an MP3 player...great investment lol.

How is silicone even good against dropping? I always thought it was a flimsy rubber that won't protect shit if dropped.

ok so it aint the same company, i think this is what i had
http://www.amazon.com/PSP-Ultimate-Gator-H...249&sr=1-31

they look slimilar though
basicly they materials were glued together and that glue seperated
i would think that made it cheeper but less durible
that and the "leather" seamed cheap and it looks like the same
just pointing it out

well, the first one is completely different to the others. It is more of a shell, whereas the others are more 'carry case'-like.
Out of the bottom two I prefer the leather, it looks nicer, is smaller, and provides better protection against drops but has a few real flaws:
> By the looks of it the DS just 'sits' in there and will fall out if you open the clip, and possibly even fall out the sides even when it's done up.
> The games look like they'll fall out very easily, i can imagine (after some wear) they'll fall out the slots then slip out the sides.

> It only carries 3 games (though this won't be a problem in a few months time if ya no what i mean

)

So you need to decide when/where you will use it and how easily things may be lost depending where you keep it. If you do go for the leather one I would do as the above poster said and use it in conjunction with the yellow case. This will prevent it's 'nakedness' (if that's what you want to call it) and also provide extra protection for when it falls out of the leather case after you open it upside-down.

^anyone considered the points in bold yet?
there is nothing to prevent it slipping out the sides of the case.

Actually I pointed out that in the pictures, by the corners of the 3DS are two clips, one on each side, which seems to hold it in. That's why I'm getting the leather case. Not sure about the games though.

I really hope it won't be the same as the intec case lol. If it falls apart I'll go after Amazon or the company.

40 bucks but that controller clip on thing has speakers...looks awesome. Too expensive though for some cheap stuff.

i'd get the blue portfolio thingy because it seems to be the most usefull because you can put the charger in it. Well it's usefull for longer travels but the leather thingy is pretty cool.
I just didn't help you at all

No you helped haha.

The portfolio is nice, and it says the case detaches.

Ah it's so hard to decide!!

I think I'm dismissing the yellow case completely.

The portfolio...eh.

Leather is on preorder.

Nerf...I want to know what colors there are.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
