Hacking Help I just downgraded to 9.2...

Hey I just downgraded my 2ds down to firmware version 9.2 using Ninjhax and sysupdater. Now that I'm on 9.2 I want to install CFW but I don't understand how to get back into the homebrew browser on 9.2 Firmware because I think my Ninjhax doesn't work anymore.

Someone was walking me through this but they dissapeared they said I needed to go here https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-2-(Downgrading) and start from step 18. However I can't figure out how to use browserhax I'm so confused can someone pm me I need help


Do I need to be able to get into the homebrew launcher to install CFW? this is so confusing.

What region is the console?

EDIT: Go to System Settings and tell me the version.

I'm in the united states and my firmware is 9.2.0-20U

Go into Cubic Ninja and press L + R + X + Y and then click "Yes". Then, press Create then QR Code (make sure WiFi is on) Scan this QR Code. http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/JL1Xf2KFVm/q/POST5_U_12288_8203.png

I can't even do that when I go to QR code it automatically tries to boot Ninjhax and fails

Delete the save first. L+R+X+Y in the menu

Mhm rip I had a problem like that before w/ my sister's so I used RXtools QR code before lol

Thank you so much it worked and it just got menuhax installed. I'm trying to be able to play the free games could you help me a little bit further and tell me where do i go from here? Do I need to install a CFW now?

Browserhax DOES work. You just didnt try hard enough, or didnt have it setup properly.
It isnt 100%, and there are ways to improve its success rate.
But that shit does work.. especially on a 9.2 console.

Screw browserhax i'm done playing with that Cubic Ninja is the way to go. I was just missing that reinstalling ninjhax step otherwise ninjhax takes all of like 5 seconds.

Now I need to figure out what else I need to install so I can finally play some games. Is my next step loading CFW?

As does Browserhax. Free hax > buying a game Ill never play.
I thought people on 9.2, or really 10.5 or lower were lucky to still have Browserhax.
Its always been my go to entry point.

I'm not mad about buying the game it was only 35 used at the gamestop by my house and I'm going to resell it on ebay for a profit so not mad at that at all.

I never said you were mad. But im glad to know how you feel, about having initially wasted money and time doing something you could have done for free.

But as stated.. dont sell. Its smarter to keep it at this point.
