Gaming Help. Hinge is broken

Hi Users,

Yesterday i was playing Yu-Gi-Oh and then it happens. My hinge brokes on my ds lite. it ws the ds from my brother. 2 months ago the same thig happened to my ds lite. what can i do now? the bottom screen turns red, blue, and yellow. cant play games because the color on the bottom screens change. and today my friend told me that the same thing happned to his DSi. the ds lite from me and my brother s over 1 year old.

I'm no expert on DS hardware and the such, but I don't think its repairable short of opening the DS up and fixing the loose connections.

And how long was your warranty for, it might still be covered?

If you are careful with it and all the cables are intact you can buy a replacement case and fit that.

also, next time this should probably go in Hardware rather than game help.

Why don't you guys just use a crystal shell protection...?
It really helps protecting the DS... (I don't really think the hinge should break after only ONE year! O_O)

my ds is 3 years old and just has a crack
if the screens go bezerk you have to buy a new ds
