You mean Modmii's main wizard or syscheck updater wizard, the usb-loader just sets up HDD basically

The wii app for d2x CIOS installer should work. What HBC version do you have (why post a partial syscheck?!)

If given the option to select an ios when running the installer, select 250 since u have it installed already, then try again to install to slot 249

Here's how I'm doing it according to Wii.guide:

Also... Syscheck's aren't just the csv file?

The syscheck you posted is missing lines from the top that would tell me your system menu version, but in this case more importantly what HBC you are on and what ios its using.

The d2x installer needs its meta.xml in the apps folder along with the boot.dol to work without a cios, and it needs to be launched from a newer version of the HBC that supports meta.xml arguments

Edit: just download modmii, and open your syscheck using it by dragging your syscheck onto modmii.exe or a modmiiskin.exe or a shortcut to either

I didn't knew that.
I'm using the Wii.guide site. I followed everything.
Lemme do another syscheck while video uploads to facebook.

Sorry for taking this long, but I noticed that the previous Syscheck was in Spanish, set the console to English and re-did it.

So you're using an old version of syscheck, you should use the hacksden edition, it's easy to find.

Also, "HomebrewFilter ist nicht installer" isn't English, lol. Use the hacksden edition.

Its not just 249 that should be updated btw.

I edited my post above with recommended steps btw

Lol!!

I think you can get it to run offline if you save the base wads to the root of your device. Or you could definitely do it offline using modmii to pack the cios's into wads for you to install.

Edit: offline installation info more for someone else in the future stumbling along this thread since you've already got what you wanted installed

Can I get those d2x-cIOS from the installer to my SD card and save them elsewhere?
I still have 2 more Wii's that are half hacked.

Use modmii!

If u want to manually dump wads you can use blue dump. Or you can pack content like IOSs into wads that are saved to nand dumps using tools like showmiiwads (in showmiinand mode)

Edit: also I'm pretty sure the d2x installer would have saved the base wads to the SD card when it downloaded them, so the installer should be able to run offline to install the same cIOSs again in the future

if you're not sure, just mention them without providing a link. in my creating ps4 backups tutorial, I don't have orbis or gengp4 in the tutorial. I think gengp4 is okay, but orbis contains sony code, so I mentioned the twitter account where to find it. I asked if it was okay for that much, but I never got a response, so I just left it as is.

Will try that.

I think the d2x installer is a link in the virtual wii tutorial. not sure about the other two things though. those things should be easy to find with a google search though.

It's pretty much OK to share/upload anything that isn't the hackmii installer or anything containing Nintendo code (which includes ios's, cIOSs, system menus, custom system menu's (but mym's are fine), any games (unless they are open homebrew games), sneek/uneek (but not the installer), and I could probably list more but u get the idea)

Edit: u can freely share the open homebrew channel, but u would still need the hackmii installer to install bootmii

 Yeah, pretty much.

Maybe just with text will suffice.

For real I encourage you to look at modmii, it does all of what you're saying and you're welcome to integrate and link to it for your guide, the only caveat is that it requires windows

ModMii even accepts cmd line arguments, and custom download queues, so if you wanted to you could customize how modmii is used for your guides. So basically u could share a modmii download queue that users would copy to their modmii installation, then they download the queue (either via the app or cmd line argument or bat script to load your custom queue). In this way, you could "send" someone a cios wad or wads that include your own customizations to slot or version number but without actually sharing any Nintendo code

There are 2 great guides online on this subject on top of google searches.

One uses a wifi connection (the part you did't pay attention!)
The other one uses Nus downloader to use d2x installer offline.

is fine as long as you dont upload the cios wads
Can't re-upload hackmii installer or CIOS files, or anything else I listed in my earlier post

Don't forget about the original d2x CIOS installer... MODMII! I don't recall exactly but I think d2x was on v4 or higher before the wii d2x installer was released
