Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. Hacking [HELP] Emu NAND stuck at black screen

I'm working through Rudi's NAND Creation and Emulation Guide, and at step 4 (Start NAND-Emulator and setup your new Wii) I never get past a black screen when starting "Start NAND Emulator" from the homebrew menu. The guide says a few minutes, and I have left it on the black screen for hours so I assume by this point it's not an issue of patience. I'm running on an original Wii with a USB drive and SD card. To my knowledge everything in the guide has been followed to the letter. I have been unable to find any similar incidents online, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.
