Hacking (HELP) Clone ux0 to usb

i have a psTV with 3.60 and henkaku.
i heard that there is a method to use a usb stick as storage and that you have to clone ux0 onto usb.
how do i do that?

So we have to use exfat format to work? Also we have to reboot after mounting and copying the files from the memory card?

Heres how i did my PSTV.

1. removed VITA memory card & reset PSTV (system defaults to internal)
2. opened browser installed HENKAKU to internal memory (automatic) - this also installs molecular shell
3. opened molecular shell - set spoofing to 3.65 & enabled unsafe homebrew. closed molecular shell
4. logged into PSN (Spoofing enabled) downloaded APE Quest (Im EU - i think US can get locoroco) Demo.
5. Once Apequest was installed opened molecular shell and pressed SELECT to start FTP
6. FTP'd over VITASHELL, EASYADRENALINE INSTALLER 1.09, whitelist v1.1, offline installer
7. Stopped FTP and then installed VITASHELL.
8. Closed molecular shell and opened VITASHELL. Waited 2 mins to allow it to check for updates (Latest version is 1.61 at time of writing) - if it needs to update then let it.
9. In Vitashell install easy adrenaline, offline installer & whitelist
10. Close Vita shell then Open Email App - dont set an account then close it
11. Run offline installer
12. Close offline installer
13. open easy adrenaline and allow it to do its thing including the reset.
14. Start HENKAKU when PSTV is rebooted.

-----This is internal Memory set up to how i wanted-----

15. Start Vitashell and press select to start FTP
16. FTP entire UX0 folder to your PC. (approx 280MB)

-----PC is ready to clone memory card-----

17. Insert your USB Stick into PC
18. Format the memory stick to exFAT (DONT GIVE IT A LABEL)
19. Copy the contents of the UX0 folder onto the USB Drive.
20. Back to PSTV

-----Magic is gonna happen-----

21. Boot Vitashell
22. Press Triangle and choose mount uma and wait..... (have have to remove USB and reinsert as per onscreen instructions)
23. When mounted press triangle and select mount uma as ux0 and wait
24. wait some more
25. seriously this bit can take up to 5 mins and the screen can go blank.
26. PHEW! Vitashell confirms its mounted - PERFECT
27. EXIT vitashell

Our Livescreen is now identical to the internal one so we did not need to refresh livescreen

28. Boot adrenaline
29. Follow onscreen info and extract FW.
30. Wait for XMB to boot
31. Close Adrenaline and power off PSTV
32. Remove USB and plonk in PC
33. Add Stuff (iso to ISO Folder and PSX PBP to pspemu/PSP/GAME/)
34. Remove USB with all your goodies on it
35. Boot PSTV
36. Boot Henkaku
37. Boot Vitashell
38. Mount uma
39. Mount uma as ux0
40. Close vitashell and open adrenaline

I personally have tested 128GB USB Sticks and a powered USB Hub with a 1.5TB drive. I prefer the read times of the USB Stick tbh My Stick = https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/USB-Flas...UTF8&qid=1492629410&sr=1-6&keywords=usb+stick

I have one loaded with my Fave PSX and another with my Fave PSP.

So wait, (little off topic) does this work on the ps vita?
I believe not, but want to make sure.

no external usb dont work on vita cause it has no usb port

PS VITA (i.e the handheld) 1000 or PHAT = Deffo no go
PS VITA (i.e the handheld) 2000 or SLIM = Maybe, just maybe in the future USB OTG may be implementated (Fl0w has said its a no go though)
PS TV or VITA TV = USB Support via VITASHELL 1.6+
