So I followed the sticky about making backups from retail carts but can not get it to work for some reason.
I have a 3DS XL and an original DS so what I did was put the dstwo in the original DS and ran mario kart to set up my wifi settings. I use a virtual access point on my router for WEP connections for my regular DS games and I don't broadcast the SSID so I had to do it manually but it all seemed to work and Mario Kart connected no problem.
When attempting to make a backup though I've had a few issues. Using the savegame manager for pokemon I just get a black screen. Using other save backup homebrew I just get stuck at connecting and it never seems to actually connect for some reason.
If anyone can help me figure this out I will be grateful.
