Hacking Help! 3ds failed downgrade

So I downgraded my 3ds and I got freezes in settings browser and games so I updated to 9.9 and It is not fixed.
Please help this is brand new I will appreciate any help

I was on 9.2 so I used FFE to upgrade to 9.9 but then it is still freezing before running homebrew

What version did you downgrade from? If it was higher than 9.9, that's why nothing works.
I assume (since you really provided no information) that during the downgrade you got the "error has occurred" message.

If so you likely still have your original browser. If you can't open the browser you'll need OOT/CN to get back into HBL properly.

Provide us with more information. Like what version you started on, what you were downgrading to, did you use O3DS files etc..

don't have menuhax set up? You should have used SysUpdater

Didn't answer the other question. Does the browser freeze as well?
If so, do you have OOT/CN? (looked like you did).

If you have OOT, use another 3DS to install a different payload. Upgrading to 9.9 makes things iffy, but try a 9.9.0-31U payload on OOT and see if you can enter HBL from there. (try 9.2.0-31U if that doesn't work)

I have abother hacked 3ds with cfw if that helps

the browser freezes and before i hit start on ocarina of time it freezes and so does cubic ninja before i can get to main menu

Welp, then you're probably SOL then. Without a game/browser/system settings, you got yourself a nice brick there since you have no way into HBL. Your only bet is try to either find a game like FE:Fates with a 10.3 update and hope that fixes things.

Hardmod would only help you if you have a 9.2 backup or you had it in place before hand. Hardmod won't do anything for you at this point unless later you did the 10.6>10.2 nand/nfirm swap and then downgrade that to 9.2.

The best thing I can reccomend at this point if a 10.3 cart update doesn't work is try using the safe-mode and update the console (though it'll be on 10.6)

well the recovery i speak off is that safe mode, so you need a way to update to 10.6 to fix everything then hardmod and downgrade

So mabye a game will come out above 10.3 to fix my freezes

Considering you started at 10.3, assuming no other shenanigans you can try updating to that to see if it'll at least fix the games.

If it doesn't work though and you can't get to safe mode, you have yourself a golden potato as you have no way of getting to the latest update and by the time a new game comes out, I can guess they'll change the nativefirm making the hardmod useless down the road since the attack works on minor firms.

I am sure I used the right files but I used sysupdater when it was unsafe

What's the number of files though? Juliaan's sysupdater or safesysupdater? (the latter had logging features)
