Hi, I am fairly new into this hacking scene. I recently decided to start tinkering with my 3ds and was lucky enough that a local game stop had a copy of cubic ninja cheap and I was able to use that to access homebrew.
Now I am curious about cfw's and their advantages/disadvantages. My N3ds is on the latest fw (11.0.2-35u or something like that) so I believe in order to get a cfw i have to hardmod and downgrade. This is where my question comes in, is it still possible to play games online, like Pokemon with an outdated firmware? Also, looking at something like SumoHax. Does that work for retail cartridges or only downloaded roms?
Anyways, I am excited to join the community and start learning some of the inner workings of the 3ds.
