hi everyone, i am a gaming lover since kid..LOL

i am a newbie in here and still don't understand many things!!!!!
is there anyone there kind enough to answer a few question for me??[for NDS]
1. i downloaded the newest cheat.DAT file and already copy it into my system folder..but then, why some cheats exist some not?
because in the game list, all those games in my R4 is included within the cheat file.
for example the cheats contain all of yu-gi-oh game, but there is no cheat available at all when i want to play it??
the same thing happened when i tried "userCheat.DAT file"
any idea what's happening in here??
i dun think the cheat is the problematic one in here, maybe it's something to do with my R4 but i don't know what to do!!!! T__T

2.What's the newest firmware for R4 DS?? 1.19 or 1.22 or 1.26??
i try to update it to 1.26 but didn't work at all..it makes the NDS unable to continue the program after Nintendo Warning health. stuck at 'loading...'

i revert it back to 1.18 and update to 1.19, it works but the language of cheat is in chinese

so i change it again to 1.22, it works but often hang.
so i stick out with v1.18..
what's the best firmware version for R4 DS?

1. ihad an r4 and all my cheats worked, so try formatting your msd and make sure u backup your files on your pc before formatting, if that doesnt work then try redownloading the firmware your using

2. im not sure but i think its 1.23, not sure tho
ide recommend u make ys menu for your r4 cuz its really really usful and its often updated so u can play the latest games
there is a guide on tis website to how to successfully make a ys menu for your r4

as for cheats i think it only displays 800 games so you should use ysmenu with ttmenu v1.17ao2

don't worry, i like it to be here.. so many information about games! it's really helpful.. LOL
what's ys menu?
where can i download it?
can u give me the link to access to that guide of ys menu?
the forum is big, so it's confusing as where to go.. haha

@rockstar: the site u told me is not working.. "cannot find server"
it display only 800 games randomly or alphabetically?i only have 19games in my R4 tho..

someone help me!!
i already followed the guide to instal ysmenu as instructed but i got stuck..
strange.. i follow up all the procedures tho..
6. Extract files to the same folder as YSMenu, let's call this the YSMenu and DSTT directory, shall we?

7. Now run ttextract.exe, that will generate ttpatch.dat, ttdldi.dat, r4patch.dat, then delete ttextract.exe.

i run ttextract.exe but the result is error: cannot open TTMENU.DAT??how come?
DSTT used is the v1.17 kernel. and YsMenu is the latest one also(21/03/2009)

i already got stuck in step 7..zzz still have long steps to go before finish(24)
