I got Heatseeker yesterday (having to re-download it, after finding out that I had the French version

) It's a really fun game! Lots of action, lots of planes, and the controls are generally very slick. Be sure to select "professional" controls to get control over your tilting -- I played the first few missions with arcade controls before trying the pro ones, and the pro ones are way more fun.

I haven't been able to find a complete control reference yet, so I've decided to start one here. Please post the ones you know, and I'll add them to the list.
  • Change weapon: D-pad down
  • Zoom in on target: D-pad up, D-pad up
  • Wingman attack target: D-pad left
  • Wingman defend target: D-pad up, D-pad left
  • Recall wingman: D-pad left (?)
  • Evasive maneuver: Shake Nunchuck (perform when "Incoming Missile" flashes on-screen)
  • Activate stealth: D-pad diagonal down-left
What else have I missed?

After playing some more, it seems that shaking the nunchuck "usually" performs an evasive maneuver when it flashes on-screen ("Break Left", "Inside Loop", "Deploy Flares", etc.). With stealth aircraft, D-pad down-left activates stealth.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
