Headphones?

I was considering buying a pair of headphones in my coming trip to India. I searched a bit, and I thought I'll buy the Sennheiser 238 or 339. My budget is about 60$, I can go a bit higher but it'd be better if I spent less. I'm looking for an on-ear portable headphone which is stylish. I'd prefer Sennheiser, but anything is cool too.
 
IF I were you I would evade Senheiser. They have great sound quality(I love them for that) but their build quality is pretty poor and flimsy in general.(I think build quality is important when you travel.)

Try to take a look at Sony or Philips brands for example, maybe you will find something over there.

For fun take a look at this:



I'd recommend this.(it's a chunk more expensive though)

I love my sennheiser's can't remember the model but there in the same price bracket your after but I gotta admits they are flimsy, I accidentally got them caught on a fence while taking my dog for a walk and it ripped apart the wire inside, I had to rewire them myself to get them going again

As I assumed, the build quality is not that great. It will certainly do it's job but you never know.

The store I work at sells them as well and they do a great job ^_^ Take a look at this review: http://www.trustedreviews.com/sony-mdr-v55_Headphones_review it gives a good impression of it.

I would recommend that one! ^_^

Thanks, it looks good, but the only thing holding me back is that many reviews say that it makes creaking noises, that would be a huge negative point for me as I tend to shake my head (lol) when listening to music. Anyways, are there any other headphones to consider? Thanks Langin, you're being a huge help!
 
I would personally recommend saving for a quality pair of headphones, aka Audio Technica ATH-M50. The m50's may be a bit pricey, but it's well worth the money. If you're still really not wanting to spend too much money, go with "Sennheiser Hd438", you can get them for around $60 - $70.

Thanks for suggesting, but since I wear glasses, over ear ones will really be uncomfortable or even un wearable. I'm looking of on ear ones.

Still, I want my headphone to make a style statement cuz I'm cool :yay:
 
The Yamaha RH-5Ma Monitor headphones are pretty sweet.
They may not have obnoxious or gaudy styling like Beats, or other such crap,
But They are well built and sound fantastic, especially for what they cost.

You could also check out some low end Grados, but you'll probably need a
headphone amp to get them to sound there best and they are a bit more expensive.

If style is more important to you than sound quality,
the local wal-mart probably has something more in line with what you want.
