The app is called "FAKEDVD". It's from crediar, so sure thing is legit.

It loads a .WPT file. Never heard of this extension

BTW, if fat4:/ is USB, then yeah, this is an USB-something-loader.

It seems it also patches DVDLowRead, DVDLowSeek and DVDLowReadDiskID on the fly.

thats a format that his wiitools create, it is real and usb is slow.

Yeah, sorry, typo. It's surely not that WPT

It's probably simply an ISO renamed, or some new extraction method (for having smaller games).

WPT could stand for Wii ParTition or Wii Partition Table.

EDIT: Like linkinworm said, it's a custom format.
I wonder how the speed issue was resolved.
