Yeah it’s fine, dock must be usb3.0 for best performance.
But usb 2.0 should work fine too, but slover. Right.
I used usb 2.0 flash drive, and it works only on the
left port, on the right one says "can't be used.."
[ i have original ps4].

I'm not familiar with a ps4 dock station. What are you using the drive for? exfat (or even fat32) should be fine if using it for media (movies, music, etc) but for extended storage (legit games) you need the ps4 itself to format the drive into its own proprietary format type, and it needs to be directly connected, no hubs or anything (even one built into a drive enclosure). If you're using it for backups or whatever, exfat should be exactly what you want, but like I said, I dont' have any knowledge of "dock stations" on ps4.

I have USB 2.0 HDD Dock station, not ps4 dock station, just a usual hdd dock station for
connecting 2.5", 3.5" hdds to the computer, so i wonder is it safe to
connect that hdd dock station as a 'Flash Drive' to the PS4,
just a technical question ?
