Honest opinion here is that this isnt very useful, heres my points:
If people were to use this to update HOMEBREW, there would be no need for it at all because of HB App Store on the switch itself.
If people were to use this to update CFW, there would also be no need for it because its basically like 2-3 clicks and 1 url to update the CFW, which can also be pretty easily updated by a homebrew app.
Also, the fact ur bundling this essentially as an All-In-One will actually slow down/annoy the general progress, ive learned from experience, I did something similar with kit-kat and it didnt go down well at all.

HB App Store requires the developer to update the app there, this app does not. So it's more useful than you think just in point one alone.

Is that so? Didnt know, even so its still not as convenient if I had to be honest, after all nx app store could introduce an auto update thing

Then apps pushed to that store would not forgo malicous file checks, this app does that because it downloads from github (open source, so everyone can see everything) so uploading something malicous is harder. HBAS could do something similar but it can't atm.

During the Halo 2 modding scene people made the same AIO(all in one) programs(I was a developer for some of those programs, not the AIO ones). They are inevitable and every time one gets released for a modding scene the same comments appear debating the usefulness of the program lol.

Just live and let live, if you don't find it useful then move along.

That's a good way to put it, thank you. I did something similar for Android years ago (of course it's died off and shit but AIO's are helpful to lots of people.)

1: HB App store doesn't allow users to add their own repos yet
2: I'm sick and tired of generichomebrewname.nro not telling you which version you have installed, this fixes that
3: This allows users to find a large variety of homebrew without having to worry about proper install folder etc every single time
4: Later versions will allow users to install certain kips like mitm, emuibo etc easily, something HB App Store doesn't
5:This provides easy links to each homebrew's dev page or gbatemp thread for ease-of-access
6:This means you don't have to manually check each homebrew for updates
7: The 1.0 release will be compatible with the App Store, essentially acting as a desktop equivalent
8: Wiiusbhelper was amazing and did some similar things without "slowing down/annoying general progress"

Thank you for your input though.

1: True
2: HB App Store and nro's do say the version
3: HB App store doesnt need a specific proper install folder, just click install, also usually the downloads are very noob friendly
4: HB App Store does allow u to install mitm emuiibo e.t.c
5: True
6: HB App Store auto checks for updates on all of installed apps
7: If your just going to integrate app store into your store I dont see the point, thats like Gamestop letting you order from amazon
8: WiiuUsb Helper was also the only app of that quality out there, whereas for the switch that isnt the case, which is why that didnt slow down anything

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Im really not trying to shit on what you have done, but once again this is just my opinion, and it stands, this isnt a necessary tool.

Final rebuttal, I say this respectfully.
1: thanks
2: The HB Appstore does say the version but there are a lot of non-appstore apps where the nro is named the same thing each release leaving you guessing
3: So what your are saying is my app does the same thing. That's good.
4:was unaware of this, thank you
5: yeet
6: Yes, but they sometimes lag behind the github release
7: Making my app compatible means I'm not introducing an additiona standard to the scene, which is a positive
8: Praise be to wiiuusbhelper

UPDATE: Release 0.7 in now available, this includes a tool for installing pynx scripts via github, improved image scaling with the optional "pillow" python module (you can install it through the app or manually), the injection gui has been greatly improved, some loops are now better threaded, and a few other improvements. Keep an eye out for versions 0.8 and 0.9 which will feature a custom firmware manager and Homebrew Store compatibility respectively.

Project update:
Version 0.8 has been released.
This version includes an alpha version of a CFW manager. Use at your own risk.

New plans:
Menu for kip/sig/etc patches
Integrated serial number checker
menu to easily backup and restore sd card
