Stop using RxTools and switch to luma3DS. https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Installation-and-Upgrade

You don't 'install' CFW. All you need to do is put the luma3DS files on your SD card and launch your emuNAND/redNAND using the homebrew provided.

It is only difficult if you plan on installing a9lh (assuming you haven't already). If you just want to stick with your existing emunand setup then it is just a matter of copying files over and possibly editing a single config file if you use a boot manager.

Honestly I recommend going full a9lh to prevent further issues. It's the best hack available for the 3DS as of yet.

No video walkthroughs. The best guide available is currently Plailect's guide, and it has plenty of safeguards for users, and is overall the best guide for the whole 3DS hacking scene. Since you're already on emuNAND, you can start on Part 4. There is also a tool now that can help you stay on top of the steps by checking them off one by one. Here's a link.

I'll remember that if I run into issues with the cfw on my own 3ds, but until that happens, I'll stay on my emunand rxtools, not having any issues. I'd rather not make an issue out of one that isn't existent.

Also, just curious, does luma even use an emunand? that sounds like a drawback to me if it doesn't securitywise.

Lol. I'm not sure if there is a single 3DS cfw that cannot be run through emunand.

I've heard rumors about some just run sysnand (they could be just a9, but I wouldn't know for sure), and the luma tutorial didn't look very informative.

sorry, but I don't have any issues with rxtools that require me to switch.

(I might consider if luma has a splash screen like rxtools, and how cool luma's looks.)
