I started the whole HBG route, but I’ve been downloading to pc and uploading and installing with my SD is there a way to make it better easier so I don’t have to keep powering off and taking as out...... on a side note I was on tinfoil lastnight and Accidentally Deleted My :/usb/.... anyway to make another one?

Use some FTP homebrew. FTPd is an app you can launch. Kosmos also bundles in sys-FTP service running in the background, though my experience is installing blawar's Atmosphere seems to break it and you'd have to know how to reconfigure it.

Delete the the tinfoil folder and reinstall /HBG/ , that should fix the problem

tinfoil folder is in [Root]> Switch> Tinfoil

Okay I think I know this one.
1. Download FileZilla on PC or any FTP client
2. Turn the FTP on via the switch
3. In the IP area (in FileZilla), copy the IP address you see on the switch. (Include the port if the IP looks like this: 123.456.78.90:5000)
4. Hit connect (no pass needed)
5. You should then see the root of your SD card

The port is the numbers after [:]

So this would make it so I can wirelessly transfer files on my computer right? Or can I hook right into the drive ?

Wirelessly. FTP is a wireless, however you do need to be on the same WiFi (last I checked) and the transfer speeds are much slower then just directly connecting the storage

Also I don’t use SXOS (have in the past). So I don’t know how the FTP server treats the HDD or SSD :/

And when you say Just connecting the storage Do you mean transfer to SD card are using a USB

You already mentioned HBG, if you're using the HBG Shop it will let you just download directly to the Switch, no PC required at all.

Also, while transferring files to your Switch via FTP is still an option, you can actually use the memloader payload to turn your Switch into a glorified microSD card reader over USB. TegraRcmGUI has this built-in under the Tools tab.

This could be done (must have a HBG theme to use) but OP might need to install first party nintendo games in which you do need a pc. However, Updates or DLC can be downloaded directly to the switch with HBG

What do you mean HBG theme? I have the HBG app but when I open it it goes directly to tinfoil... got from HBG webpage... and when I’m on tinfoil it asks if I wish to install all dlc and updates and has them all listed on the side which I picked yes... so that would mean I just need the base then?

I was able to find some first party games, pretty sure Yoshi is on there for one.
