Homebrew Question HBg Shop type question

So why is it on some games I get off the shop it says I need to redownload them like from the eshop? Im thinking its got something to do with the type. 1 type is UPD and when i go back to the main screen its stating that I need to redownload it. Is there a way to fix this?

UPD are the update files, you need the base game first.

I personally don't use hbg shop, so I couldn't tell you...but almost assuredly if there are update files, there are base game files as well. I mean, from the sound of things you have had success with some games, meaning there are, in fact, base games available. Not sure about how the files are labeled there, but typically the base games ae labeled as such or with a vo designation, whereas update files say upd or v1.1 or whatever version it is.

Base game
Updates
Dlc

All 3 installable but without base game you cant play and most likely have cloud icon on the game.
