    say you either:

    a) dont have an SD card
    or
    b) dont have access to it at the moment

basically what i came up with was the idea that our apps could be sitting in the clouds and rather than depending on an sd card all the time you could simply load them from a server by way of its IP

this could be installed as an app into preloader or add this into future releases of HBC

im in no way a coder but i just thought id put that idea out there

I think the homebrew channel can already download an app from your pc
I've seen some movies where the HBC receives an app from an external source anyway
but maybe you need an sd card for it, I dunno

SpAM_CAN: you can use w/e if you have webspace you can use that

diddy81: can this be installed into preloader? as the purpose of this would be so you dont need an SD card in the console

To have the app constantly streaming to HBC on everyone's wii it wouldnt be worth the cost for bandwidth...just get an sd card.

I think there is already something called Wiiload that you allows you to launch them from your PC.

But, I see what you're saying, what if you want to access your apps from your PC without going on the PC...Not a bad idea.
