Hacking HBC middle finger...??

Ok I was trying to put back my normal IOS (I was on CIOSCORP) and after starting with IOS30, I tought.....i should start with another one.......so I attemp to install IOS33 and in the middle tells me error, so shit what are the odds (pheeeeew less bad it wasn't IOS30 since I'm on 3.2) and then I went back to the HBC, and I saw the pointer giving me the middle finger, and I kind of remember the pointer was an open hand and then when you point at some app it will go to the index finger possition, then I started to freak out and since IOS33 couldn't get installed, I upgrade to 3.4 again, and the finger is still there, and the IOS16 installed perfectly, and the ios249_r7.wad that I have also installed correctly, so I started to think if this is the new marcan's protection against pirates using his HBC.......what do you think, I was just paranoid..?? or I just didn't see the middle finger never...??

At first I didn't notice it, but later on I did.

Great work to those who put that.

But remember, a stupid little finger.png image will not stop us from doing dirty.

Just update to the newest Homebrew Channel and it should be gone.

Odd.

The finger is supposed to appear if you have any type of tickets from the no-limit Homebrew Channel from along time. Try using WAD Manager to uninstall HBC (since the no limit used the same name, HAXX, as HBC does now), and run TP and install again. Should work, it's what I did.

well actually yesterday I was experimenting with TFwadpacker and I did the HBC101.wad, and installed it thru wad manager using the TH, so maybe I should delete it and use the official installer instead....!!! :mmmmmm...:

Just use the download that appears after a little while while you're in the HBC menu.

Wait a few seconds, or minutes, and a download box should appear asking if you want to update.

Well now I deleted the channel thru the Wii Settings, and at the first try the installation failed, and at the second got it installed, but the same trouble about installing IOS33 (normal)...!!!

Oh and the middle finger is gone...!!

There totally should be a patch for Wii to change the whole Wii menu navigation system to make the pointer hand to have middle finger instead, just for shits and giggles.

Did you conside that the HBC is not meant to be installed with the WAD Manager? Team twiizers really don't like it, so i wouldn't be surprised if the installer installs more than the wad install.

But I liked it much. (The idea and such.)
It shows they have a feeling for humor a aren't no lifers or something.

I think they deleted it by the way and replaced it with a easter egg...

(Because of some cry baby's that asked if they could delete it...
