Homebrew Haxchi issues

Ok, so today i bought Brain Age, and decided it was time for some haxchi. So, I proceeded to install haxchi, and the icon shows up, but when I run it, I get an error saying "There is an error in the software's data. Restart the console and then delete the data for this software" I am on Ver. 5.5.1U, stock firmware.

Delete the game .. disconnect any USB drives.. redownload the game .. then rerun haxchi.

Do I need to disconnect things such as skylanders pads or my wii u pro controller charging cord?

you shouldnt have to remove skylanders , but it wouldnt hurt to. you run the exploit either www.wiiubru.com or www.wiubru.com/x or www.loadiine.ovh / i would suggest having the latest HBL found here : http://www.wiiubru.com/appstore/#/app/homebrew_launcher .

I am using loadiine.ovh and can I update the homebrew launcher using your appstore?

If you mean for using Haxchi, any game mentioned here will work.
If you mean for actually playing the game, it depends. What franchise are you interested in? What style games do you like to play? Are you a hardcore or a casual gamer?
