hans def works on sumo n3ds, that's how I've been playing my jpn copy of the game

This version of hans is a beta, no? I really need to use it to patch Dai Gyakuten Saiban (The Great Ace Attorney) when the patch is released and it gives to me a reboot on N3DS (European, last update with Freakyhax) after the opcions.

Also I need hans for Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice, but it directly reboots when I select it, with Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy it crashes on N3DS but works fine on O3DS (Japanese cartridge).

Sorry about asking this to you, but I really apreciate your work, thanks to the last update I finally was capable to transfer the save of Rhythm Thief (digital) to my physical copy.

Smea suggests that it has (had) something to do with Luma. Note that these issues were reported much earlier this year, and SaltFW users could never reproduce the bug.

Provide more information. What kind of 3DS are you using? What system version is it on? Were you successfully able to boot Moon with HANS previously?

The bootup sequence for this hax version looks a lot cleaner and seems faster as well.

edit: 10/10 successful boots on 9.2 menuhax peasants will rejoice.

Also, PASLR bypass with HANS in combination with ctr-httpwn should be helpful for people with menuhax on 11.0/11.1 to access the eShop.

Same issue here that they're having.
Using homebrew via OOTHAX, system 11.2 FW N3DS. @smealum said it should be working but it's not
I get either a mix of crashing bottom red screen with colorful dots pixels in diagonal lines, or- majority of time- it acts like it's loading only to be booted back to main menu. Double checked to get the latest starter kit and replacing hans file but nope nothing works

Hi guys! Can anyone help out?

I was recently able to get back my O3DS with Cakes CFW and homebrew (it's running 10.5)

Didn't update it or anything but since I got locked out of the HBL on my N3DSXL by stupidly updating said unit to 11.2, I said "what the hey" and decided to use the O3DS to install OOT3DHAX on my US cartridge. And here's what happened

1) downloads the new homebrew starter kit and updates the homebrew files on both the CFW/hombrewed O3DS and the 11.2 N3DSXL

2) inserts OOT3D and deletes all savegames

3) reboots O3DS and enters the hombrew launcher. works fine so far.

4) tries to install OOT3DHAX using the sploit installer

5) Failed to grab payload url Error code : D8A0A046

6) checked to be sure wifi and internet are configured properly. all seems to be in order

7) looked around for a solution and came across this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/install-oot3dhax-offline.446390/

8) downloads n3dsxl otherapp for 11.2.0-35U from smeas site. places required files in homebrew O3DS. follows instructions listed.

9) payload successfully installed using O3DS. installs the otherapp payload also on the root menu of the N3DSXL. for reference payload filename is N3DS_U_26624_usa_9221.bin (renamed it to payload.bin)

10) tries out cartridge in 11.2 N3DSXL. savegame loads fine. pushes A button and the game freezes and kicks me back to the home menu with a message that the system will need to restart.

Can anyone offer insights on what I missed? Thank you.

No. Jack54782 is a spammer who has since been suspended. Downgrading on 11.0+ still requires dsiwarehax.

Am running 10.7.0.32E and HANS seems to not work with Pokemon Moon or Terraria, rebooting back into the homebrew menu upon being used, and crashing when attempting to boot HANS again!
