I'm on 10.1 too and BlargSNES and GameYob both don't work for me. I guess the most guys only replaced the boot.3ds file, so they are still using hax 2.1. That's why it's still working for them.

Both BlargSNES 1.3b and Gameyob work fine for me and I know I'm on 2.5 (I'm able to close the lid and open it without freezing, as well as access the eShop.)

O3dsXl -2.5, Ironhax - Blarg1.2 was working yesterday, stopped.
Dloaded 13b, blackscreen as well

I'm having issues with blargsnes 1.3b on my FW 9.6 N3DS XL. I'm running hax 2.5 through ninjhax. It won't run Donkey Kong Country 2 at all even though my japanese n3DS on ninjhax 2.0/2.1 (through tubehax) a few months ago was able to run it perfectly fine. Also the japanese n3DS ran the NES emulator FCEUMM perfectly, while FCEUMM runs choppy on my hax 2.5 N3DS XL. This honestly feels like a step backwards aside from HANS and eshop access.

Is there any way to go back to 2.1? I've tried using an old 3dsx boot file but it still installs hax 2.5, I'm guessing maybe it's because when the N3DS connects to the internet to install the hack it automatically installs only hax 2.5 now.

I think the 2.1 and 2.0 codes are offline, smea replaced them.

Could be your entry point if that's the only thing that's changed aside from hax being updated to 2.5 from 2.1.
If you're sure you haven't updated blarg, you could try themehax and see if that renders the same results.

While I'm not sure about where to find a working qr code for running 2.0 (unless somebody made an offline backup for every FW combination), alternatively you could try running ninjhax1.0 with the old boot file from this starter and a qr from the ninjhax 1.0 page and see if ninjhax1.0 works better for you.
ninjhax 1.0 starterpack
http://smealum.net/ninjhax/ = ninjahax1.x QR code not to be confused with the following link
https://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/ = ninjahax2.5 QR code (Do not use this one if trying to run hax 1.0)

But you might see more obvious results from simply changing your entry point to themehax or themehax then CtrBootManager.

Ah yeah, I figured 2.0 and 2.1 would be replaced by now. Yeah the entrypoints I'm using between the two systems are different, but if anything I'd think that ninjhax should be more stable than tubehax. But then again I have no idea how these hacks all work on a technical level. I'll try themehax out and see how that works.

Also I have a N3DS on 9.6, I don't think there is a QR code available for ninjhax 1 on this FW unfortunately

Ah.
Oh hey look what I found.

Not sure if whatever they link to/trigger is still up, but you can give them a try. The imgur dump is from 3 months ago so that should be pre 2.5

That would link to 2.5 payloads still.
(That, or if smea changed the QR codes when releasing 2.5, those QR codes won't link to anything anymore.)
I'd agree normally it'd be more likely that smea simply replaced the payloads since both hax 2.1 and hax 2.5 are hosted on github, and seemingly the reason hax1.0 wasn't replaced is that he hosted that on his own webspace.
But I did just eyeball the QR codes on the ninjhax2.5 page vs the ones on that imagedump, and they look like visually different compositions between codes that are for the same firmware versions, meaning they possibly lead to different URLs.
Whether the urls they lead to are valid links or still have 2.1 payloads up, as I previously stated, I don't know.
