Was funny... I saw this morning... have to say I preferred PS5 girl but when it comes to consoles... well not sure I will bother with "upgrade"

Let me ask you a question. Do you like playstation exclusives? Games like God of war, uncharted, Spiderman, the last of us etc...
If you do then buy ps5 if you don't care about playstation exclusive games then buy xbox series x because it's more powerful and cost the same.

I dont think either OP or myself were treating this that seriously.....

in all seriousness xbox cause of multiple factors incl bc with all gen's of xbox games free upgrade to next gen versions of previous gen games+ upconverting of older games (though unconfirmered but very likely) free online multiplayer bethesda games exclusive now Game pass list goes on, i would wait as seeing neither will be available to even preorder for some time I'm gettin a series X maybe mid gen for now getting a one S tomorrow

which console are you going for this time and why?
Neither. I don't like censorship & propaganda in my games.
I have a Japanese vanilla PS4 & two Switches, for now its more than enough for me.
Might invest in a gaming pc soon, but that's about it.

May I ask what incidents or games in particular you mean when you say censorship/propaganda? If games being localized with missing content bothers you, you probably do want to get a gaming PC.

The Last of Us 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spiderman, Days Gone, FF7 Remake, Devil May Cry, and that's not counting all the Jrpgs/visual novels. My gaming PC was burnt a while ago, and so I ended up becoming a console gamer. Not entirely a bad thing, cause I discovered so many terrific games on the Switch/PS4. I am however looking into buying a solid pc, ping ponging between a gaming laptop and a custom desktop.
