Hacking Haven't updated M3i in a looong time..

Hey guys,
been out of the scene for a long time and was looking for some help with my M3i (version 1) card for some of the newer games for my DS Lite.
The current firmware is Sakura 1.42/4.5.
Have downloaded the newest quad boot rar file from http://gbatemp.net/t205001-the-new-m3-quad-boot, but have no idea where to put the files.
Do i need to flash with a newer F_CORE as well?

If it helps, i'm looking to get the following games running:
Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Puzzle Quest 2

There's a setup and guide on the thread you linked.

I don't think you need the new f_core, afaik it's only necessary to fix after updates, but with a DSL I don't see a problem.

1st format your sd card, i suggest using Panasonic SD Formatter
after that just copy all the files included in the m3 quad boot file ( all the files!!!) to the root of your micro sd
make a folder called NDS ( or anything else ) and put all your games in there
you can then organize them as you want

the last 2 steps arent necessary, just my personal preference to keep all the roms organized
