Hacking haveing no luck networking Mplayer ce

i am haveing a hard time here so bear with me. ok im trying to watch some videos i cant seem to reach my computer
these are my setings
#Samba share1 (smb1:/)

ip1=192.168.1.9

share1=lesbain/videos

user1=

pass1=

now the prob is that it says error reconecting and never connects its driveing me crazy if you can help please do any ???? ill answer if needed
by the way the wireless works, has no security, and wii can connect in every other way so if you can help thanks ill be watching this post for your help.

Check your spelling, it's lesbian

. But it looks like you're trying to share a path to a folder. That won't work. You need to share the folder name, so probably in this case

share1=lesbain

You can then click that and go into the videos folder for all your dirty needs

sorry spelling is right on the card and it is the share not a folder i was able to do this awile bace with mplayer the way it goes is lesbian/videos but it just keeps giveing me the error any ideas there

i don't think that you have a slash in the name of your share.

if it's a windows share under vista (i had to set it under xp as well) you have to set a username and a password for your account and use it in your smb config file.

To clarify.....which folder do you "want" shared? lesbain or video?
Whatever is your desired choice, share that particular folder on network, it "makes sense" to network share "lesbain" as you will be able to "browse" all files and folders within that share!

So what am I saying? 1 folder shared=contents
so use either share1=lesbain
or
share1=video

You cannot do it as you shown, otherwise it's trying to mount a invalid share, and you cannot have characters like / in a folder

ok ok to clear this up a little im on xp my e drive is lesbian the share is lesbian just that no (E or anything as i said this worked on mplayer before no password eather it just keep saying error reconnecting ive even tryed with another connection on the network and nothing still is there any way to test you conection when your in mplayer or does anyone know a way to see if im even conected to the network???

so you should enter "lesbain" as your share because that's the name of your share or you make a share for your videos folder on your harddrive e: with the name lesbain and use "video" as name of your share ore what ever name you apply to your share.

the other connection is passworded and it doesnt work i think the prob is its haveing trouble connecting to the network once its in Mplayer ce at least it seems that way

im just haveing a hard time getting this to work so as i said before could there be a way to test the connection to the wireless i feel its haveing the prob there
so any one with a real answer i would be so thankful.
