Gaming Have I been banned?

So I was in the middle of a Nazi Zombies run online when *poof* I get disconnected from XBL. I've been trying to get it to work since then. I've done all the suggestings I got but still nothing. When I test connection, it starts connection to XBL (about 1/3) there and it just stops and gives me a big red X. It then says "Xbox Live is up and running even though it's not. What's the verdict?

No, you haven't been banned. The same thing just happened to me and all my friends, including the ones without flashed boxes. It must be on Microsoft's side.
