So this is the guy I keep hearing about from Moddedwarfare and Mrmario. The one who received two c&d letters, said he would take the site down and blew them off, thinking they would just go away. Funny, I work on a lot of consoles but this is why I publicly distance myself from the switch. If I wanted to get into the game, I would have done it years ago but I know how fierce they are. The first, friendly letter would have had me shitting bricks and losing sleep but they gave him two chances, wtf was he thinking?

Yeah this guy had no business running a business (lol). He exit scammed so many people.

As mentioned earlier this guy scammed me out of an Nintendo OLED Switch. He's lied numerous times.
Dude was an asshole for exit scamming, now he's looking at a sentence. Good thing he gotten sued to oblivion now. Hopefully, now he could refund the buyers who have gotten scammed in a court of law.

Now that his real info is available, someone who got scammed should contact a lawyer and possibly start a class action lawsuit against him.

Welp. I don't remember if I said this dude (or whoever he supposedly hired) did good work or not, but my Switch just fucking died. If I did, I take it back. Best I could find out from scouring this site and Reddit is that the resistors might be bad. I'm messaging some Etsy people to see if any of the other modchip installers will be able to fix whatever these guys fucked up or just straight up install a brand new chip instead (as if I needed to sink even more goddamn money into this piece of junk). Anyone know of any reputable US-based shops that can do that?

Nintendo has launched legal action. By the looks of what Ryan Daly's claiming that he wasn't modding any consoles, I doubt he'll have a leg to stand on.
As reported by The Gamer - "Alleged Modded Switch Seller Is Going Up Against Nintendo Without A Lawyer"

The scam victims would honestly get more money and justice by suing him individually, making his life a living hell in the process on top of what's already going on.

This is true, but this guy won't pay a penny. He will probably just not show up to any of his court dates and file bankruptcy before the state of Michigan starts trying to garnish his wages. That's what I did when I got sued for almost $300k.

I'm in Australia so I'm not sure how things play out in the US in these situations, but because Nintendo is involved they won't care how much money they throw at this to make a huge example of him. And to use Jayro's words, "make life a living hell".

Considering the DS line was a "modders dream" and as such being a logistical nightmare to police, I'd imagine Nintendo would be severely peeved off over any sort of mods to specific hardware now. Sheesh, a youtuber got their video taken down just for showing how to run Linux on a Switch.
