Hacking Hard drive problems

so I havec2 switches and a hard drive which has always worked flawlessly on both switches now I notice my sons switch wont recognize it anymore meaning it won’t scan for games but it still works fine on my switch... any ideas what’s happening

There is no forum rule that every switch question has to be asked in that thread, unless it comes from the mod which you are not.

I don't understand why you are bringing up the forum rules when its also not against the rules for me to bump a thread with some friendly advice. However if you must insist, users who repeatedly open new threads for the tiniest of issues should try to utilize less threads especially if the questions are in the same vain or can be consolidated in a pinned thread.

Because yesterday I saw you say you wouldn't answer someone who makes pointless threads who did nothing but nicely ask you for advice. There are switch sections for a reason, if it's the way you think it is there could just be one thread. There's been n00b threads since the Wii though, and yet people are still able to open threads if they choose. Not everyone considers themselves a n00b and just has a question. You don't get to dictate that just because it's easier for you to answer everyone's questions in one thread.

Also going around bumping threads pointing someone to your favorite thread is not friendly advice. It's actually a waste of time when you could have just answered their question. You're being rude to people for no reason, so I'm giving it back to you.

I do apologize to the OP. I would have just answered the question myself, but I am not sure why one switch is reading your hdd and the other isn't. Possibly an sd card issue idk.
