Hard drive image backup and restore?

I'm looking for a program that can backup a whole hard drive partition and restore it later from a boot disc if the hard drive gets screwed up. Anyone have experience with such programs?

Yes, PartImage works quite well and driveimage did the trick. However the of the latter I am unsure how well it works with newer file systems as I have never used it past 2004. PartImage didn't work with NTFS (Vista version) the last time I used it.

DriveImage works with Xp, Vista and Windows 7 according to their site anyway.

Clonezilla is a nice, free hard disk cloning program that runs from a Live CD or USB flash drive. There are tutorials, etc. on the website.
