Halloween: The Game

With Halloween around the corner, illFonic Publishing, with Gun Interactive as co-publisher, and John Carpenter as Executive Producer; will be releasing Halloween: The Game on September 8, 2026. As a fan of The Friday 13th game that was previously made by Gun, and a fan of the Halloween movies, I am looking forward to this game. Luckily a single player story mode has been added to this game, so if multiplayer is not your thing, story mode may be. It will be available on Steam, PS, Xbox, or Epic. Will you be picking this up to play?

Wait and see for me. I used to played a lots of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, bought all the dlc etc. And look at how that game turns out in the end.

Yep I agree, I played lots of that too. Hopefully this does better.

Obviously you never played any of them, but I only know of a few modern games with actual licensed horror characters with this type of gameplay, please fill me in on the other 47 games you mentioned.

I'll get a copy of it. Its coming around the corner and we are not far from the release date. I really enjoyed F13 The Game. So much so that I did the lazerus experience for my YT channel a couple years back. I didn't care much for the texas chainsaw massacre game. Wasn't crazy about the design of the gameplay or maps. The new Hellraiser Revival looks to be pretty good from the few trailers I saw. I don't think that game is multiplayer though since their going for a singleplayer experience. Correct me if I am wrong though.

I like that it has the melodramatic doctor. That looked like Laurie's hair, hope you get to play as her. I haven't played any of the other mentioned games so I guess it won't hurt to try this one.
