Xseed's marvelous PSP twist on the RPG/shooter/strategy genres is returning for a sequel. Famitsu has first details this week on Hero 30 Second, sequel to Hero 30 or, as its known in america, Half-Minute Hero.

Similar to the first Half-Minute, Second's gameplay takes place in short 30 second bits. But there are some big changes to the formula here. The scenarios all seem to be RPG-based, doing away with the alternative offerings of the original. Additionally, the clock will now stop during some events and when you're exploring the map.

Famitsu introduces five scenarios: Overture, Judgment, Revolution, Ragnarok and Destiny. The game will offer some 90 quests across the scenarios.

If you run out of quests, you'll just have to go online to get more. Second will feature an edit mode that lets you create your own quests right down to the stage layout. These quests can be uploaded to a server to share with other players.

Also in Second, you'll find an updated wireless multiplayer mode which supports four players, and the new Infinite Hero mode, which puts you up against an unending string of demons. The multiplayer mode can be played using the quests you create in the edit mode.

Hero 30 Second hits Japan on November 4. A release outside of Japan has yet to be announced.

I didn't like the first one at all, thought it was pretty bad. Not too hyped for a sequel.

I liked the game but it's not really amazing in any aspect and only fun for the first hour or two before it gets boring just like a real RPG
