I'm sticking with your guide.
You say when I install SM4.1.. I'm currently running 4.2

Anyway... I edited the post..
Tried loading hackmii from your MMM package..

Also tried to reload MMM to ios 250. It reloaded now without crashing..
then tried to launch hackmii installer.. again, crashed at loading app message.
I'm considering about that nand formatter... but this console doesnt have bootmii as boot2.

Anything else you can think about mauifrog?

Delete sd:\private
Then take \private\ from whatever bannerbomb app pack was working for you and put it on sd:\ It should work, you where just loading it. There are 3 versions of BBv2, some work better than others on some wiis. All 3 versions of BBv2 are linked in chapter 1 part 1 4.0-4.2 Bannerbomb v2 in my guide. You may need to find the one that is working for you.

Your at 4.2 now, in chapter 2 part 2, install 4.1.

Bannerbomb IS working mauifrog...
It's just MMM that hangs when I try to load hackmii installer.

I'm trying the alternatives bannerbomb files...
I can't use wad manager to install IOS249?

Delete sd:\bootmii
Delete sd:\boot.dol
Extract bootmii_folder-NTSC.zip to sd:\
Keep your bannerbomb files on sd card
Put bootmii booter elf on sd:\ as boot.elf
Extract bootmini.elf to sd:\ from hackmii 0.8
Bannerbomb, bootmii loads, load bootmini.elf from sd menu

Or delete boot.elf and boot.dol
Extract hackmii 0.8 boot.dol and bannerbomb it.

Well.. call me whatever.. but for the kicks, this wii can't run hackmii installer.
Well, i got it installed ONCE using installer 0.6.. then I uninstalled dvdx
then installed version 0.8.
then I formatted wii internal memory... then it auto shutdown.. and brick!
Now I can't run hackmii installer again.. not even 0.6.

Any ideas?
The only thing that seens to be working fine is Wadmanager 1.5
Also mauifrog... bootmii booter says something about IOS36.

I just tried to load DOP Mii from MMM and it hangs..
then used DOP-Mii as boot instead of mmm and it loads fine.
Here's some pics.

also, another program says that my IOS36 is version 16. Isn't that outdated or something?

What happens when you format your sd card and load Hackmii from bootmii?

Extract bootmii_folder-NTSC.zip to sd:\
Put your bannerbomb files on sd card, "sd:\private"
Put bootmii booter dol on sd:\ as boot.dol
Extract bootmini.elf to sd:\ from hackmii 0.8
Bannerbomb, bootmii loads, load bootmini.elf from bootmii sd menu

Also top priority is making a nand backup from bootmii, so when bootmii loads, make a nand backup. Also look for sd:\installer.log, post that here.

Thank you again for your reply mauifrog!

I will try that soon as I finish my work.
I've been told it can be a ram problem. Wii with ram problems?
During the temp I was away from the forum, I used wad manager 1.7 to install the complete system menu 4.1.
Dop-mii usually DSI error now when loads.
Hackmii installer crashes in black screen.
If I try to access wii settings, it hangs in black screen as well.
I also tried your system.txt replacer, which replaced the file without problem. I have a backup if it's necessary.
Another thing that forgot to mention is that I already got bootmii .6 installer to run. Tried to install as ios, it said it couldn't assemble boot2.
Then I tried to install hbc, also failed.
The only thing that worked was uninstall DVDX. Did that.
Then I managed to run hackmii installer 0.8. Installed bootmii as ios (ios254 is there) and made a nandbackup. BUT here's the funny part. It failed BAD to check the dump (the autocheck it does when it finished dumping the nand).
Then I went in the wii settings, and made a system format. It worked and wii powered off (the common behaviour)
Then it asked me to perform the setup... everything went fine. Now I can't access wii settings menu again (crashes to blackscreen)
Since I was deadly tired I forgot to save this "dubious" nand backup and key before formatting the sd card to try another fix.

Now another question about "bad ram".. why wad manager worked fine? If it was a bad ram problem, my system menu would be corrupt now, no?

Sorry about the long post.. and ill try what you said mauifrog in a few.

Thank you again for the reply mauifrog!
While waiting I replaced the ram chip in this board, installed all the ios required for system menu 4.1 using wad manager.. and voila!
Hackmii installer worked now.

Dop-Mii was always saying that hash for content #xx failed... and that was for the files I used to save the other wii.. then I downloaded again from NUS. Same error.
Turns out this was indeed bad ram.

Thank you for your time
