I'm having some weird issues when exiting Retroarch games. After playing a SNES game or an arcade game, and exiting with the home button on a Wii Classic controller, the screen just goes black and the LED goes off.

I was testing it with Super Mario World, and when I went in again, the game hadn't saved. I exited with down+select right away, saw the waiting save state, but when I scrolled over a couple of games, the screen went blue and I had to unplug it.

I uninstalled and updated retroarch and all the cores I use after 2.14 released, and I deleted enough games to get me at 285MB on the main window.

Yep after some testing I'm getting this a lot now too using 214b. I've got 254mb space used and a few cores installed but also the same black screen when exiting games now?

If the drivers have already been installed from a prior version, you do not need to install them again with this latest release.

Isn't it recommended to install the "latest" driver? I would imagine there's been some changes, someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

No, not the latest driver. Just the latest retroarch hmod. The change that was made regarding the driver was for better program compatibility across different OS (XP, Win7, etc.)--how it installs--not a change to the driver itself. I was concerned yesterday that we had to install new drivers, but this is not the case. Also, for what it's worth, I was running pcm's old hmod version 0.4 (which is the last version before he switched out the snes9x2010 core for the snes9x2005 core) and did NOT update that when I went to 2.14b...everything still works fine. @youngtune27

Thanks. I ALWAYS make it a habit of uninstalling all modules + retroarch before I upgrade. Then I install my new modules + retroarch, when that's done I copy over my dump/config/folder_images/etc, followed by syncing my games!

I opened Hakchi 2.13, uninstalled all hmods. Opened up Hakchi 2.14b, let it reinstall custom kernel, installed all new hmods from Cluster/pcm with MSX and NG bios, except snes9x2010 (I'm using an old version because I want save states). 289MB of games. Works perfectly.

How do you get old version of 2010 hmod. I have the old version but it's .so

Find one of the older releases by pcm720 and download the source file zip instead of release version. Copy the hmod folder into user_mods. You will want to alter the command lines to differentiate 2005 and 2010.

Soo.... with emulators for the n64, One game has always been the bane of things.
Has anyone tried Gauntlet 64 and does it work 100% without issues?

i looked everywhere for the US version!!! Wtfff how the heck did you snag that! I literally can't find it anywhere at all on the internet.
It's not US, it's Europe. In US, we got the ugly purple buttons and without that logo. US also never got any Club Nintendo giveaway controllers.

I snagged it off eBay a month ago. Wasn't cheap. It was the ONLY one available in a long time.

Ohhh Europe either way I couldn't find it anywhere lol. I'm jealous bro!

Tons of Japanese ones available if you need a second one, but I hear you. I had to have one of each. :D

I call your bluff and raise more! My controller of choice!

Much with having an official NES Classic + interface (rather than a Pi), the appeal for me is using an official controller, so this is my controller of choice. :)
