My bad for being a noob, hehe, thanks, Man. Btw, in my experience, MK64 can run with Glupen64. It's just I can't map the config because of that controller issue thing.
Have you install retroarch.hmod yet?

Thanks, Man. Have a nice weekend too!
yes I have and it works for 5 mins then crashes back to home menu.

Is there a schematic for this hardmod?
I think it is far from perfected yet, still a somewhat messy mod. On the Russian forum this has been discussed several times but to be honoust haven't followed that in quite a while. I don't speak Japanese but you could try to follow Honeylab's blog. As far as I understood Honeylab's solution is your best bet at the moment, hopefully Cluster or someone else proves me wrong.

I've just shelled out for 2 brand new & sealed Classic Controllers only to learn that the unofficial ones (at a fraction of the cost) might work soon!!
You shouldn't regret, I still have original NES controllers from 30 years ago and they work fine on my original NES. Some unofficial controllers are decent but most of them might break if you fart in the wrong direction or look at them too long.

I am surprised you were even able to find 300 good NES games, I will have approx 300 games as well but between NES and SNES and even that was a tough decision (those top 100 lists on internet helped out). Every time I think I have the perfect setup, Cluster comes again with an awesome update, pretty sweet dilemma so I can't complain. I really should start playing the damn thing. Where did you found those skins and are they vinyl?

I directly asked honeylab but he does not answer me... maybe it is really far from perfect even from the hardware point of view?

For All! But remember that 300MBs available for all includes BIOS, games, cores...
Also I think if there are NeoGeo big size roms it's necessary left more space .

Rgs.
There was a discussion about whether or not BIOS, games, cores were included in the 300MB green bar in hakchi.

What are your thoughts?

I've tested the 14 RC3 and it's blazing fast. I'm talking about 185mb in less than a minute. Those who dream to put PSX games... no sweat. Large mame like kof98 and xmencota works like charm.

The usb handshake codes I think is a bit buggy and it might harm your nes mini during the process if you keeps getting error before or after download.

Tough I suggest to wait for an official release but it's going to be awesome.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

i think only the red mario kart edition phat was v5

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
