Problem I have now, is that hakchi sorts games alphabetically in the folders. I can go into each folder and sort each folder by release date, but the folders are still each alphabetical. If it can all be done by release date, that would be a dream come true.
Always you can use he total control of folders by Cluster manager, put pictures with Years in folders... It's an idea ;)

Anyone out there have problems using a Wii Classic pro controller. Picked one up and I get nothing from it. From what I can tell it's an official controller. Has the Wii logo on the front, Nintendo logo "etched" on the back. The plug says "Nintendo".

Not sure what the problem might be, but it does absolutely nothing.
Seems to be broken (or a very good fake) to be honoust with you. Those controllers are supported, they even work in RA without any issues.

For me the default options that hakchi2 2.12 comes are great, but I will make a video to check your question.

By the way... as logical of a modular system.. also Dosbox games runs from gui... like The Secret of Monkey Island. :) Also can change the core of the emulator easily... So great.

Very impressive work. Mad skills. Patiently awaiting the 2.12. Anyone know what the load limit for roms is? I have well over 300mb and I know that's what the NESC memory is at or around. I would assume it is not in my best interest to get near that high of a number for MBs used up in the system. :D Thanks!

Yeah I'd keep it around 200MB to keep room for all the save states etc. It's all probably temporary anyway since USB support seems to be on the cards in the near future.

I tried to put Ocarina of Time but appears that has limit of 30MB rom size. But for example to put Monkey Island(~3MB). Hakchi2 search the zip and you select the "exec" in this case Monkey.exe when hakchi added with the system to for example CLV-H-MONKY(can be any letter in any sort) You need to add in CLV-MONKY the rest of monkey folder(in this example).

I see....
So an individual romfile will not flash to the classic if it is over 30mb in other words, yeah? Thanks bunches. *fistbump*

UGH - C7 error now on every NES rom and no retroarch roms load - tried to build the latest retroarch.hmod from https://github.com/ClusterM/retroarch-clover and put into my 2.12rc3 folder. no luck.

Just rebuilt RetroArch.hmod (there were just 2 new commits) and now I can run NES roms (no more C7).

I now still get C7 errors on all SNES roms and GENESIS roms dont load at all.

how did you get cps1 and 2 working? Do you unzip the rom files into the game folder? Which file do you point to in the desktop file?

Oh man... Retroarch.hmod isn't necessary to build. Only get zip and extract(to be sure 7zip) the \retroarch.hmod on your hakchi2 2.12RC3 folder and overwrites all files.
Then Open hakchi2 and only need to In module option, install module... And select RA(yes I know you do before, but believe in me)

@doombot11 At the moment I don't try Arcade cores, but I think they will works.
Its rare. MvsC in .zip has more size that Ocarina. But Ocarina gives me the LED power on, in a flash process.(Remember OoT is about 27MB less that other games that I tried for FBA NeoGeo)

Sorry, struggling to understand what you are saying. There is a brand new retroarch.hmod on github (https://github.com/ClusterM/retroarch-clover) and that one is not working for me. Giving me C7 errors and some games not loading like SEGA games.

I hope at some point they're able to add and improve new filters into the actual Display option on the home screen. I'd love to be able to use the CRT Filter and 4:3 modes but the first one is far to heavy handed an effect for me and I just can't cope with the warping that you get in the 4:3 mode. That means I'm stuck in Pixel Perfect mode at the moment and although it's not terrible, I can't help but be aware of the aspect ration being wrong while I play games.

I'd really like there to be an option to fix the warping in the expected overman areas in some games. It's really noticeable in games like the Super Mario games and it would be a fantastic improvement for that to be dealt with, even if it was simply a black border that's placed on top of the game.
