Do I just select FLASH orginal Kernel ? then Sync back ? or do I got put a fresh kernel IMG then flash ?
About your problem I think the problem isn't use of .rar (this make only usefulness this compressed games with retroarch)
If I were you, I extract hakchi2.zip 2.11 with 7zip and overwrites all your actual hakchi2 folder. Then download the access that put pcm https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByJabzdhjqvQdC1aZ19NTWgzY1k/view?pageId=104481856051620791269 to enable madmonkey's retroarch and extract over hakchi2 folder. Open hakchi2. Then to check everything is all right. Unselected all games and only mark retroarch. Flash your Mini. Enjoy ;)

EDIT: Never mind, it's 140x204 (what Hakchi 2.11 and earlier forced) per http://neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?s=8c4ba0f948da2fe723c949f139c30802&p=229698271&postcount=1220.

@Cluster (or anyone else who'd know) - what are the dimensions (H and V) of the Nintendo-supplied PNG cover art images for the 30 stock games on the NESCE? I know what the boundary limits are, I'm more interested in knowing about the actual in-box artwork that comes by default.

Sorry for cluttering things up with a post that _isn't_ about RetroArch. =)

wow great progress with recent hakchi2 updates and RA port. while i really like the many features and mapper support of the nes cores i dont really feel the heat of the other emu cores (besides game boy and maybe snes) to use on NCM. for me its totally wrong to emulate anything non-nintendo on genuine nintendo hardware and more important defeats the original simple and easy concept of the NCM which was designed for famicom/nes in mind and nothing else. for that total emulation needs i got myself a raspi3 with retropie. also it already pushes development of hakchi2 in a confusing direction for cluster i guess. why should he spent hours of coding just to please some weird wishes with RA? and soon enough people will demand NCM frontend compatible suspend points for MAME roms or other cores. that is wrong. think about all the newbie questions and other "dreams" when people learn more about all the other RA cores and options. can i please have daphne support on NCM... (that was irony!) installing retropie on raspi3 is so simple, using hakchi2 on NCM is so simple. i love both on their own! but mixing them together is like all hell broke loose... oh and btw its called "libretro" for heavens sake! maybe i'm over-reacting now but please keep the RA mod to the nes cores and everything will be good i hope ;) i dont want to be mean to anybody but i just had to get that steam off my mind :) i also respect all the different goals people want to achieve with the NCM although in many cases it would be more easier to just use retropie or for the "truly insane" get yourself a 8+ TB (thats tera mind you) hd for hyperspin on a forever upgradeable full blown windows machine because zillions of roms is not enough it also has to have enough juice for sega lindbergh arcade games :) ok back to famicom gaming...

Everyone knows Raspberry Pi has more abilities, but being able to play multiple games from multiple systems on the classic under the classics interface is a good thing... what purpose does it serve to limit yourself

I understand you, but don't upload non-Nintendo stuff to your NES then, hell you can even remove all the cores from from RA besides the NES one. I also don't want Mega Drive (sorry Genesis) or Neo Geo stuff on my NES mini, didn't grew up with it and don't care. If Cluster decides to implement RA as an optional emulator or even replaces it by default, having access to other cores is really not that much work.

Three questions about retroarch:

1- It is not possible to emulate n64 ant any level?
2- Anyone know how to make game genie cheat files to work with retroarch?
3-It will be possible to save our states on retroarch or extra nes games?

Now I have tested that, it runs like crap. Don't even bother.
The hardware should manage it with a few tweaks to the emulator. At the minute I think they're using builds that aren't really optimised for the hardware, it's an Allwinner R16 (A rebadged Allwinner A33). That's a pretty decent quad core similar to the Pi 3 (though with much less RAM), it should be performing a lot better than the Pi Zero.

fair enough, but you are limiting yourself for various reasons if you want all that from the NCM. using a raspi is just a current trend not the only choice.

maybe... but i guess it would be better for all of us if cluster can concentrate more on the main hakchi2 features than patching RA down to the NCM. even his question if he should release hakchi2 with folder update now or wait to implement more RA support is testament to this...

Well It's ready a Tutorial to add NES unsupported games to play on Mini NES Classic Menu. It's in spanish but I try to made a guide step-to-step to minimize possible issues.

Of course all credits are for pcm720 madmonkey and Cluster, without them great work this video tutorial isn't possible.

Please, enjoy!
