Run GameCube Games? YES! (Devolution for VWii is quite compatible, but requires a whole lot of kibbitzing to get working because of "anti-piracy" Measures. More info in this thread. Also, Before leaving the Scene, Crediar gave us Nintendont, another Gamecube backcompat program. Compatibility has increased significantly since it was released, and even runs some games that Devolution couldn't. Also, Open source! If you'd like to download or help with this project, more information in this thread. Here's a compatibility List.)
This could probably use a minor update, since Nintendont now has amazing compatibility and Devolution is barely worth mentioning. (Simply for the fact that it exists and does perform the same basic function... But Nintendont is the obvious choice for pretty much everyone.)

The only reason someone would want to use devolution is for broadband adapter emulation at this point

You'd probably need to be on the "current" firmware to play online? In that case you'd need an 3DS-like EmuNAND or a version spoofer.

Super Mario 3D World
Xenoblade chronicles X
Kirby power paintbrush
Wonderful 101
Bayonetta 1 & 2
Pikmin 30
Splatoon
Zelda Wii U
Zelda TP HD
Raymans Legends
Yoshi's Woolly World
Donkey Kong Country: (the ice one)
Cod: Black Ops 2

Well, since Loadiine's compatibility list is getting better and better every day, I figured I'd open the floodgates.

OP updated. Have fun, noobs!

Someone here can tell how downloadable content works on wii U? Its like the wii (download a .wad dlc from around the internet) ? I mean, there's a way to make dlc work with the use of loadiine yet (the legal and the illegal way)? Also, titles from e-shop will be possible only when the iosu hack comes?

Read the Loadiine thread. DLC/Updates etc don't work yet. You'd need an IOSU exploit for that. As I said, early days.

Just Wait. Turn off the internet config on your wii U, just for precaution, and stay in the current version you are. There are things coming soon (dont ask when, but stay tuned) for 5.5.0. and 5.4.0....Theres no way to downgrade, and when the IOSU hack comes, maybe there will be, but I dont think we will need to. Read 1st post!

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
