so i thought i would play with the bmg file today and thanks to the code pune posted i got it working however the disk channel bubble is capped at 20 characters atm
i need to find where the system menu keeps that limit i thought it might be in the brlyt in the balloon.arc but changing that didnt effect it :(

the 20 character limit is hardcoded into the system menu
Code:
_f_text:813389C0 # ipl::channel::Manager::setDiskChannelName((void))
_f_text:813389C0				 .globl setDiskChannelName__Q33ipl7channel7ManagerFv

this is where it sets the limit. 0x14 is 20. whip up a preloader hack to change that number and you should be good.
Code:
li	  %r5, 0x14

just make sure that you have the text buffer for the tooltip balloon set high enough or else youll have a buffer overflow and crash it.

ahhh cheers pune i not bother playing with it anymore then as its hardcoded

changing the text never bothered me just wanted to work on something different for a change lol

Your poll should have been bullets instead of check boxes because now someone can easily select EVERYTHING. :facepalm:
I know but I thought more than one answer can apply sometimes. ok changed it (@megazig & plasma dragon: I got it)
did u vote? oh never mind I checked it, you're the usb guy :)

Question - as I get no reply in the actual NeoCorp PoC thread I thought I'd ask here - hopefully someone in the know might be able to help out -

I'm using the NeoCorp combo channel

Looks like it works great for Wii games - but refuses to find any type of Memory Card for GC games - CAN someone help me change settings on the hidden Neogamma channel so that it allows Memory cards? I have got a real GC card which is not read. That would be great too though I would prefer Emulated card - or Wii card....? Anyone?
