Target's Nintendo Switch Black Friday deal is probably the easiest way to get a brand new, unpatched unit. An HAC-001 model bundled with MK8 Deluxe for $300. It looks like Nintendo is trying to sift through their stock of units with worse battery life.

They're definitely going to be iPatched. But maybe you can get lucky and find one on 4.1.0.

Shouldn't they all be on 4.1.0? I thought they didn't start coming with later versions till Mariko.

In America, yea. In other regions they came with higher firmwares as they released (I think they went up to 6.2.0, shortly after that Icosa production ended)

Well OK, hopefully Target's Black Friday deals aren't going too far outside America. :P
