Hacking hacked Wii update

I hacked my Wii on version 4.2 EUR but I installed rev 10 (now i know i shouldn't do it) everything what I did is in this topic : http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=218...p;#entry2724336

Lately i bought New Super Mario Bros. Wii but when i try to run it it says the update is necessary.
Can I make an update without damaging console?

ill assume that by 'rev 10', you mean IOS249 aka cIOS36. cIOS' dont affect the Wii's performance and are only related to backup loading, so don't worry about that. you can block all updates and other stuff via priiloader

Don't update, just install priiloader to block all official updates and apply other hack things, and why you don't update your cIOS rev10 to rev19 by waninkoko ?

I tried to update rev but i can't run wad installer.
So what should I do to update IOS and which one should I update?

I don't know really much about hacking so could someone tell me step by step what should I do and using what applications to make that New Super Mario Bros. Wii work?

I usually just load the games (Whether they are official or backups) with neogamma. It just loads the game and doesn't run the update.

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader/Priiloader install priiloader though the homebrew channel. Then grab the hack.ini http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=185323 and place it on the root of your SD card restart your wii and hold reset.

Also updating you cios to latest wouldnt hurt http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=212089
