Hacking Hacked Switch Saves Gone

I let my friend borrow my hacked switch to try some games out. He did not create a new profile and just played on mine. Every game he played has a new save file with his save info. The games he didn't play the save is just missing. He says he didn't get into any of the settings and delete saves. I'm wondering if there is any way to get the old saves back, thanks for any help in advance.

Saves are located in your *nand. Here‘s a tutorial for recovering them from either Emunand or Sysnand.

if you cannot find the saves in either Nand…they are gone forever.

never had this... but maybe its because i have a patched switch and cant buy a modchip
