since 3ds can play dsiware that is transfered and since there is a suduko dsi ware hack
what do you guys think are the chances of that working on the 3ds to get dsi mode working?

It has been tested, Monkat has received a 3DS unit from the smugglers that got them from the factory. If Nintendo doesn't patch it, he'll have 3D rom support before it's released. Cross your fingers*

    It works eh?
Well we better try keep this news as silent as we can.
Cause if we get DSi mode working, we could probably be able to reach 3DS Mode from there.

Not possible. The transfer moves ticket and certs from console x to y (and only those) so you'd have to redownload the game which at the time would be updated.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that it works.

My smuggled 3DS (great 3D effect, by the way) has that hacked Sudoku thing, and I can get it to say "Hello World!" in 3D. That's really about it.

    Lemme tweak it and see.

OMG. Your so lucky. Did you pay 9001 yen for it? Please keep the exploit a secret so Nintendo doesn't patch it.

The silence was broken the second the news hit the front page.

It was quite obviously a joke.

Though I can't tell if you knew it was a joke and wished to maintain the illusion or not. If so, then feel free to ignore this post.

Oh yeah, I also got the PSP2 as well. It doesn't support this patch, (obviously) 'cause it doesn't run DSi Ware games.

I have managed to run a hacked version of Uncharted and made it say "Slyakin is amazing", though.

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

Man, I wish I had the Dreamcast 2. All I have is this weird purple prototype by Sega.

No point now that you ruined it ._.

    Anyway

We won't really know how if it'll work unless we know the nature of the hack. If it's a hardware exploit (which is kind of doubtful) it probably won't work but if it's a flaw in Sudoku itself that doesn't rely on the architecture and there's nothing to stop Sudoku from running it might work.
