Maybe its a decoy and ur looking in the wrong place.

nope, I am sure I looked at the right place. Because it's really obvious... So I googled it which confirmed that I got it all right... but it still doesn't work :/
EDIT: After more google research, it seems like there's a problem with character encoding :'(

How obvious? I'm on level 7 myself and haven't found them yet.

I'm not gonna give any answers away, but so far, I've beaten 6 levels. I want to say by sheer skills, but all I did was disable javascript in my browser and it suddenly became very easy...

EDIT: Changed the 9 to a 6. Typo.
EDIT2: Level 10 is a bitch!

I'm not gonna give any answers away, but so far, I've beaten 9 levels. I want to say by sheer skills, but all I did was disable javascript in my browser and it suddenly became very easy...

So you managed level 7 then... just worked right away?

I don't want any answers at all. I'd like to get this on my own merits.
Just for level 7 i can't see any javascript handling the file, it's all in the php file that processes the info when you click login. Unfortunately (as far as I'm aware) you can't view php code without the source files.
