Yes, the load times are poor. Depends on the SD speed somewhat. If you can put all the mod files into a single ZIP, it will probably be faster, but I don't know how to do that properly.

IIRC Zandro is x86-exclusive, so a port is not likely.

Gotcha, I didn't know it was only x86, Thanks for the info!

The load time when starting the game up is slow, but everything else is super fast, maybe it's jsut cause im loading multiple mods at once.

Also, When the enemies shoot at me, and when I shoot at them, the game freezes/lags for a second, its bearable with only 1-3 enemies around, but in rooms with more it's not really bearable...

Any way to fix this? I tried going into video settings but im not sure what would make it faster...

Might be something mod related? Like maybe it creates dynamic lights every shot or something. This does not happen with vanilla.

I just disabled all the dynamic lighting and hi res textures etc in the options menu. I even removed the particles from rockets and other weapons shots.

I am on the phone with my gf right now but I will be testing it in 5 minutes.

Well, after disabling ANYTHING I could find that would make the graphics "better" and disabling it ALL... and lowering all the texture resolutions and everything... I still get lag when enemies hsoot at me, or i shoot at them. I also notice I get SOME frame stutters when there are more than like 3 enemies on the screen, and these are normal enemies, not ones from mods... so idk. I still played doom 2 until level 4 thjough, super fun! Thanks for a great port! I hope you keep updating this!

Edit: I was using the version I found on HBStore, I think it might have been older, it doesn't say which version it is... seeing as you said YOU didn't upload it there, I am now gonna try your newest V3.

Edit2: Eh still the same, Oh well, It's not anywhere enar unplayable lol so I am satisfied either way! Thanks for the help! ;]

I don't know then. Could have something to do with sound caching.
Not sure, it happens with vanilla doom2.wad also, and I have seen the same type of lag/frame drops in youtube videos of other poeple using this port.

Done that it shows if I press R in the launcher and I go to custom but I don’t know what to do after that

EDIT: got it working thanks for your help

Yeah I also got sigil working and I got a bunch of other wads working to I even got some mods that work for zandronum and wads that were for zdoom to work with gzdoom on my switch.

Needs a On-Screen Keyboard Option that can be Hidden/Unhidden for use. Apparently can't use a Cheat Engine to create Codes.
Does your GZDoom run flawlessly? I get constant stutters even when I dont use mods and just play vanilla...

Brutal Doom seems to run perfectly. Just running Doom II, and the Brutal Doom 21.pk3 file, then it takes a little while, then boom. Runs great.

8.0.1 (AMS 0.9.1) 400GB FAT32 if that helps.

Dang... idk whats wrong with mine then. It freezes every time and enemy shoots, or I shoot...
