KOF 94 i have sound and play perfect here, KOF95 on up the load perfect then no video but can hear all the sound effects and can start the game but can't see anything ,, i'll test them again on the original version and see what i get ,,so you are saying on the sd only version they all play but no sound ..

All these 3 KOF run for me on original gxgeo and on this mod. Did you use dumpgx ? Don't think it works very well for wii yet. You can try other roms and comparing the "game.rc" file in romrc directory with what's inside your "game.zip".

anyone can share a forwarder for gxgeo-usb?

Happy you like this little addition catuligbat.

Give me 5 minutes and I'll compile fba360. I'll compile PCSX2 too and as a bonus I'll send you some caviar and eternal happiness.
No, seriously sorry to disappoint you but that would be worthless. Even if someone compile it for Wii, it would require some code to allow large roms working like Gxgeo (Where are you blizzo ?!).
You can contact Notkevar the owner of the fba360 project, maybe ? I've seen he already tried to port it to Wii : http://code.google.com/p/fba360/issues/detail?id=9

I'm having a break right now with wii coding cause even if I didn't make a lot of wonderful things, it can take lot of time and efforts. Well, at least, there seems to be less agressive and ungrateful people than on PS3 scene!

Oh, and good typo for wiiempathy, that was one of the idea behind this stupid pseudo.

No problems i only suggest for roms with if possible run within wii ram limits, especially cps1 and 2 because you said neogeo large roms and cps3 its very problematic for add code

SDL Mame supports roms run with in wii ram limit (MKI MKII MKIII UMKIII and others with similar size will be excellent)

But its only ideas, and many thanks for your effort and time because very few people (you) make wii emulators

Been doing some testing with this mod , i don't get any sound when using this on SD , but works great if installed on USB drive ,
So if you are using an SD card try Blzzo's latest version ,
If you have a HDD then use Wiimpathy's mod it works Great ,,
Thanks again Wiimpathy .

The sound issue happens when there's no usb HDD attached. By default, when you launch a game it looks for a configuration file with a cf extension (with same name as the rom, for ex: bjourney.cf) in conf directory. It there's no conf file it uses the gngeorc file on usb first, sorry I forgot that...

So, if you use this version only for sd (?!), and want sound you can put .cf file per game on sd card with gngeorc content :
# country?
# japan, usa, europe
country europe
# system type? arcade, home or unibios
system arcade
Yes, it's a shitty solution, the simplest way is to use Blizzo's version if it's only for sd card.

However, I found something very interesting with the cf files. You can add other options like raster for example:

raster true

No more graphical issues on Super Sideckicks 3 and 4 !

Does this "raster true " need to be added per game in the cf files ? Where exactly do you change this option ?

Thanks Wiimpathy

First, you can try to put raster true in gngeorc on usb (I didn't try it). Or create a file called ssideki3.cf for Super Sidekicks 3 for ex in conf directory and add the raster true line.
The file would be like this :

country europe
# system type? arcade, home or unibios
system arcade
raster true

Try with and without this line and you"ll see the difference! I didn't know Gxgeo was able to emulate some raster effects, it's a good surprise.
However, it may not improve all the games with this effect.

Hi wiiempathy if you have put option in open emulator when ask press button 1 for SD or press button 2 for USB in wiimote, this option is possible works with gamecube controller (press button GC controller for SD or USB) for no have wiimote connected

And Thanks for your efforts in this emu, creator emu not be active for some time??? (Google Code) almost 1 year when put last upgrade not???

I'm organizing the rom list, how are the roms sorted in gxgeo? I would like to list them alphabetically but they are just mixed randomly

I noticed that pulstar doesn't work, and rbff2 works with no sound, it seems to need raster true too to avoid some characters transparency. I also made work last blade and last blade 2 with no sound. I can't fix supersidekicks3 even with raster true, it just makes sound disappear and the glitch is still there. I'm loading through SD with the USB mod2 but everything else works nice (sound, etc)

Hi Dogway try the last version from blizzo on wiibrew and test from your sd card ,, i have found some games work and function better from the original , ( on my end i was getting no sound for some games, using the usb2 mod with an sd card) but the game played perfect from my usb tho,, so if your running an sd card only, try the original emu from blizzo and test and see if some of the games play any differently for you.

I also had some problems with sidekick 2. The raster option (raster true) doesnt fix it. All roms I´ve added are working.

Sometimes if you play a game and switch back with the home button to load another game, I have sound issues or the next game doesnt load.
Its better to close the emulator and switch back to the homebrew channel. Then load the emulator again to play another game.

The roms are sorted in romsrc dir. For every rom there is a matching .rc file. I´ve edit this to fix some game names.

How did you get Last Blade running?

Yes, I also edited this for some names. Anyway how exactly do you find the type of sorting for the games in this folder? Any time I add a new game into roms, and load gxgeo, the new rom is at the end of the list always...

Add lastblad.cf file to the conf folder, with the content "sound false" without quotes. I used the one with bin, I think they are generally more compatible.
